Abstract

Prabumulih City is one of the cities that is also experiencing very significant population growth which also has an impact on increasing the need for clean water, the community of West Prabumulih sub-district relies on wells in residents' homes and the Tirta Prabujaya Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) with an average discharge of 20.53 Liters/second. Population projection planning is planned for the next 5 years from 2023 to 2027. The population data used to calculate the average population growth is the population data in West Prabumulih District from 2018 to 2022. The results showed the calculation of the projected population for the next 5 years amounted to 33,858 people. obtained a projection of the amount of water demand for the next 5 years amounted to 44.29 liters / second. With a water discharge capacity of 20.53 liters / second PDAM Tirta Prabujaya is unable to serve clean water needs in the next 5 years.
