Abstract

ABSTRACT POSITION OF REPORT OF RESPONSIBILITY OF REGIONAL HEADS TO REGIONAL PEOPLE'S REPRESENTATIVE BOARDS (DPRD) ACCORDING TO LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA NUMBER 23 OF 2014 CONCERNING REGIONAL GOVERNMENT BY SEPTIANA In the administration of regional government, it is carried out by the regional head and the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), meaning that the DPRD and the Regional Head have an equal position, even though on the other hand the DPRD is also a regional legislative body, this is limitedly regulated in Law No. 23 of the Republic of Indonesia. 2014 concerning Regional Government. The Regional Head submits the Accountability Report (LKPJ) to the DPRD at the end of each fiscal year and at the end of the term of office. The problems in this thesis are How is the Accountability Report (LKPJ) of the Regional Head to the DPRD and How is the Position of the DPRD in the administration of regional government according to RI Law number 23 of 2014 concerning regional government. The research method in this thesis is normative research by examining primary legal materials in the form of legislation and secondary legal materials in the form of literature relevant to the research problems discussed and also supported by primary data sourced from the field through interviews. The results of this study are that the Regional Head submits the LPKJ to the head of the DPRD in the administration of regional government, both in decentralized government affairs, as well as assistance tasks (Medebewind) at the end of each fiscal year and at the end of the term of office of the Regional Head, there are no legal consequences for being rejected or not accepting the LKPJ.
