Abstract

Traders who sell on the side of the Market 9/10 Ulu road also caused traffic jams on Road KH Azhari and Maj. Gen. H.M Ryacudu. This is because traders who sell on the side of the road so that it disrupts the traffic flow of vehicles that pass through the road, the existence of a pedicab driver who is waiting for passengers on the road, and the motorbike parked on the road body. By analyzing the causes of traffic congestion as well as to analyze optimal service level capacity so that congestion does not occur on the KH Azhari and Mayjenh.M road section Ryacudu is right in the 9/10 Ulu market in Palembang City. This study was to find out the cause of the congestion that occurred on Jalan KH Azharidan Maj. Gen. H.M Ryacudu due to traders who sell on the side of the Pasar 9/10 Ulu road in Palembang City. The causes of the congestion that occurred on Road KH Azhari and Major General H.M Ryacudu because of the traders who sell on the road, public transportation that transport, lowering passengers and waiting for passengers (ngetem), on the side of the road causing the delay of vehicles, and the presence of pedicab drivers who park in the body Road so that it disturbs traffic flow.
