Abstract

There was work on the Wastewater Treatment Installation Network (WWTP) in a strategic location, namely Jalan Colonel Atmo, which is one of the most important protocol roads in the city of Palembang. Being a strategic area close to cities certainly causes traffic problems during the work of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Network (IPAL). This research was conducted in the city of Palembang. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the work of the Wastewater Treatment Installation Network (WWTP) on traffic barriers on Jalan Colonel Atmo, Palembang City and to determine the level of service traffic flow when the work of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Network (WWTP) took place on Jalan Colonel Atmo, Palembang City. Based on the calculation results, there is a traffic flow barrier on Jalan Colonel Atmo because the capacity of the road is insufficient to accommodate the volume of passing vehicles. The existing condition during the execution of the Wastewater Treatment Installation Network (WWTP) work on the Colonel Atmo road section has a capacity of 22% SMP/Hour and the lowest level of service with a V/C value of 0.968 with an E value the number of vehicles passing through is quite high.
