Abstract

ABSTRACT ANALYSIS OF SERVICE LEVELS OF TRAFFIC FLOW AT THE JUNCTION OF MAJOR ISKANDAR ROADS TO PANDEAN ROADS, PRABUMULIH CITY The Major Iskandar intersection is located near Jalan Alipapan, which is the road leading to Jalan Pandean in the city of Prabumulih. As a result of the activities of traders who use the shoulder of the road, and the large number of parking vehicles that also use the road body. As a result of the narrowing of the lanes, the level of road service has decreased and is uncomfortable. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of service on Jalan Simpang Mayor Iskandar, Prabumulih City. The research was conducted at 3 research points, namely: from Jalan Mayor Iskandar, Jalan Pandean, Alipatan. The results of the analysis show that the width of the lane is inadequate, many drivers stop on the side of the road, many drivers violate the entry and exit rules from Jalan Pandean to Simpang Mayor Iskandar causing vehicle delays on Jalan Agulung and also the absence of traffic signs at the crossroads.
