Abstract

The Babat Toman subdistrict is experiencing rapid population growth, varying economic levels and social status so that the local community needs clean water supply facilities and infrastructure. The management of clean water services for the needs of the people of Mangun Jaya Village, Muara Punjung Village, Beruge Village, Pangkalan Jaya Village is carried out by PDAM Tirta Randik Mangun Jaya Unit which is a company owned by the Musi Banyuasin Regency government. The method used in this research is a survey and quantitative method supported by primary data and secondary data. Based on the performance of the clean water distribution system of PDAM Tirta Randik Mangun Jaya Unit, it can be seen from several indicators, namely: the water quantity is sufficient, seen from the current capacity of 20 liters/second. The continuity required in the standard is 24 hours, while conditions in the field still show that there is a flow schedule for each region. The resulting pressure is 0.093 atm and the resulting average consumption discharge is 125 liters/person/day, where the average shortage of clean water per customer is >5 liters/person/day. Analysis of the level of water loss in 2022 shows that water loss reached 43.02% with water loss of 130,468 m³/year. Based on the results of the NRW analysis with the ILI method, the ILI value was 8.62. According to the Target Matrix Table, it is concluded that water leakage or loss in PDAM Tirta Randik Mangun Jaya Unit belongs to group C with an ILI value of 8-16 and a leak rate of 100-200 liters/connection/day. It is hoped that the NRW control efforts for PDAM Tirta Randik Mangun Jaya Unit can reduce leakage from class C to class A.
