Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there are differences in financial performance in the ratio of Return On Investment, Debt to Asset Ratio, Curret Ratio before and after the merger at Bank Syariah Indonesia. This study aims to determine differences in financial performance in ratios on Current Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio, Return On Investment ratios before and after the merger at Bank Syariah Indonesia. This research includes quantitative research with a comparative approach. The population in this study are 3 Indonesian Islamic bank companies that have merged in 2019-2022. The sample in this study is the entire population taken from stateowned Islamic banking banks that have merged, namely Bank BRI Syariah, BNI Syariah and Bank Syariah Mandiri, using a saturated sampling technique. The data used is secondary data. Methods of data collection using the method of documentation. The data analysis technique used is quantitative with descriptive statistical test techniques, normality tests and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences in financial performance before and after the merger on the Current Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio and Return On Investment variables.
