Abstract

Alyauma Akmal The effect of mycorrhizal fertilizer application and watering intervals on the growth and yield of sweet corn (Guided by IIN SITI AMINAH and DESSY TRI ASTUTI). This study aims to determine the dosage of mycorrhizal fertilizers and the time intervsal of watering on the growth and production of sweet corn plant, This research was carried out on farmers land at the Perumnas Talang Kelapa BLOK 3, Alang-alang Lebar District, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. The time of research is from July to September 2022. The research was conducted using an experimental method. The experiment was arranged in a factorial randomized block design (RAKF) with two factors. The first factor is the dose of mycorrhiza fertilizer and the second factor is the time interval of watering. Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that there were 36 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 12 Sweet Corn plants, ie 5 sample plants. The variables observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), stem diameter (cm), cob weight (gr), cob length (cm), root fresh weight (gr), root dry weight ( g), production of plot crops (kg). Interaction treatment of mycorrhizal fertilizer dose of 15 g/plant with watering intervals 3 times a week resulted in the highest production of 5,97 kg or equal to 15,92 tons/ha.
