Abstract

ABSTRACK Thessa Oktareansi/212019150/2023/The Influence of Profitability on Firm Value With Dividend Policy as an Intervening Variable in Jakarta Islamic Index Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of Profitability on Firm Value, to find out whether there is an effect of Profitability on Dividend Policy, to find out whether there is an effect of Dividend Policy on Firm Value, and to find out whether there is an effect of Profitability on Firm Value through Dividend Policy as an Intervening Variable. This research includes the type of associative research. The population in this study were 30 Jakarta Islamic Index companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The samples used in this study were 12 companies, using a purposive sampling technique. The data used in this research is secondary data. The data collection method in this study uses the documentation method. The data analysis technique used in this study is a quantitative analysis technique, with path analysis techniques and hypothesis testing t. The results of this study partially show that there is a significant effect of Profitability on Firm Value, there is a significant effect of Profitability on Dividend Policy, there is a significant effect of dividend Policy on Firm Value, and indirectly there is no significant effect of Profitability on Firm Value through Dividend Policy as an intervening variable.
