Abstract

Classroom interaction is an interaction that takes place either between teachers and students or among the students in the class. The objective of this study were to describe the strategy of classroom interactions used in teaching English to young learner and identify the barriers that English teacher faced. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The data derived from some instruments: observation and interview process. The data was analyzed qualitatively after recording teaching and learning process in English classroom. The findings of the study showed that the interaction between teacher-students interaction and student teacher interaction in the classroom. That was an English teacher and 23 students in the third grade at Prateeptham Foundation School, Thailand. The strategy of classroom interaction there were teacher and students’ classroom interaction and student respond in student and teacher classroom interaction. The barriers that English teacher were students did not like the English subject and the teacher did hard to make the student understand.
