Abstract

ABSTRACK Musi Banyuasin Regency is one of the regencies in South Sumatra Province with an area of ​​14,266.26 km2 and a population of 622,206 people. One of the roads in Musi Banyuasin Regency that connects Sungai Lilin-Peragal which is a national road. Based on the role of the road, the Sungai Lilin-Peninggalan road section has quite high road activity, starting from the area itself to outside the area. This research was carried out on the 15-kilometer Aungai Lilin-Perambang road. The purpose of research II is to find out the cause of the damage and provide a solution on the Sungai Lilin-Pembalangan road. The aim of the research is to find out the amount of LHR, to know the thickness of the road pavement to be compared with the calculation results, to identify the causes of road damage and to identify the type of damage, and to provide a solution for the damage to the Sungai Lilin-Peringgalan road in Musi Banyuasin Regency. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the damage to the Sungai Lilin-Peninggalan road was caused by vehicles with a load that exceeded the maximum road limit, there was no drainage along the road which resulted in rainwater stagnating and affecting the road pavement.
