Abstract

Traffic survey is the main activity and very important to be carried out to obtain traffic volume data for various traffic engineering purposes and transportation planning. The traffic count survey can be done manually, semi-manually (with the help of a video camera), or automatically (using a tube or loop). This traffic survey was conducted at the intersection of force 66 in Palembang city. The survey is carried out manually by placing several surveyors at the points that have been carried out. The results of the traffic survey that have been carried out are then processed to determine the level of road services around the intersection of force 66 Palembang city during the current Covid 19 pandemic and to calculate the ratio between volume and capacity. The calculations were made based on the regulations of the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual, 1997 (MKJI, 1997). The results of the analysis that have been carried out, it is found that the number of traffic flow on the Force 66 road is 1129 pcu / hour with a capacity of (C) 3673 pcu / hour, then from the Ampibi road it is 946 pcu / hour with a capacity (C) 2826 pcu / hour. hours, then from Jalan Jend Basuki Rahmat you can get 1530 pcu / hour with a capacity of (C) 3022 pcu / hour, and on Jalan R Sukamto it can be as much as 1314 pcu / hour with a capacity of (C) 2805 pcu / hour. And from the results of the calculation of the intersection at Force 66, the queue length (QL) that occurred on the Force 66 road was 61.327 m, then on the Ampibi road it was 58.570 m, then from the Jend Basuki Rahmat road it was 114.230 m, and on the R Sukamto road it was 162,700 m.
