Abstract

Sukapeace Village, OKI Regency, South Sumatra is one of the villages that has been reached by the Tirta Agung Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) pipeline network which is managed by the local government of OKI Regency, South Sumatra. PDAM's clean water service in Sukapeace village is included in the booster section of Serinanti. Some of the people of Sukapeace Village have used the clean water service but are still having problems with the distribution of water which is considered inadequate. Primary data collection was carried out by means of observation and documentation at PDAM Booster Serinanti, while secondary data collection was carried out by taking data in the form of a map of the location of the clean water distribution pipeline network, clean water pipe flow discharge data, clean water pipe specification data, and bend angle data on the pipe. clean water from PDAM Tirta Agung for the Serinanti booster. Based on the results of data processing, it is found that the initial discharge from the Serinanti booster is 16,023 l/s which will flow through the PDAM distribution pipe. Of the three energy loss factors, the first is the result of the largest turn being at point A1 of 0.0049995 m with a 90° bend angle. The energy loss due to friction is at points A1 to A2 using HDPE pipe type of 0.413750 m as far as 1100 m. Energy losses due to changes in cross-section are only 2 times, namely in the E to F pipe section of 0.00000637 m with a pipe diameter of 10 inches – Ø8 inches and on the G1 to H section with pipes, Ø8 inches – 6 inches with a value of 0.00000006 m . The largest total energy loss is found in the A1 to A2 pipelines of 0.41874 m caused by friction in HDPE pipes with a pipe diameter of Ø10 inches along 1100 m and an added bend at point A2 of 90° resulting in a large loss of energy in the pipeline segment. . As a result of some of these energy loss factors, it was found that at the end of the PDAM water distribution pipe the value that previously had a flow rate of 16.023 l/s became 0.0006230 m3/s or 0.623 l/s.
