Abstract

The construction of a Waste Water Treatment Plant (IPAL) is a form of sanitation service that is being carried out by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) as an effort to improve wastewater treatment systems for urban scale in Indonesia. Data collection was carried out through a survey of vehicle volume and road segment measurements to determine the level of road service according to the 1997 MKJI where the IPAL work was located on Jalan Merdeka in front of the post office to the front of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Palembang city on MH( Auger Manhole point )2021 – 2025. Data What is needed is primary data in the form of road geometry, traffic density figures, traffic volume surveys, environmental conditions and obstacles. Secondary data in the form of data from the relevant agencies. Based on the results of calculated research data processing, it was found that the highest congestion occurred on Monday at 14.00-17.00 at the number (0.85-1.00) at service level E, with the following conditions: with unstable current conditions, while the lowest congestion occurred in Sunday at 07.00-11.00 the number ( 0.20-0.44 ) is at service level B , with stable current conditions. And the best conditions for optimization efforts are obtained by applying traffic engineering or diverting traffic flows and installing road traffic signs.
