Abstract

The increase in coconut production in Indonesia Regency every year causes the use of paddy to increase in line with the increase in waste (remaining processing) from households or industries in the form of paddy. If the rice husk is thrown away and burned without being used optimally, it will become waste that accumulates and has the potential to pollute the environment. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of adding rice husk ash and soda water to the compressive strength of concrete Fc’ 25 Mpa. This research method uses an experimental method, namely the manufacture of concrete specimens using cylindrical molds with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm by applying rice husk ash and soda water waste as a mixture with a mix design ratio of 0%, 1%, 2%, 3% and 4% referring to mix design concrete with a quality of Fc' 25 MPa. The results of the test show that the effect of adding rice husk ash and soda water to the weight of cement, namely the addition of 1% rice husk ash and soda water 8% variations obtained a compressive strength of 26,74 MPa, the addition of 2% rice husk ash and soda water 8% variations obtained a compressive strength of 27,24 Mpa, the addition of 3% rice husk ash and soda water 8% variations obtained a compressive strength of 29,87 Mpa, the addition of 4% rice husk ash and soda water 8% variations obtained a compressive strength of 28,95 Mpa.
