Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of Mrs. May's Tempe Entrepreneurs in Empowerment and the Benefits of Empowerment carried out by Mrs. May's Tempe Entrepreneurs to the Surrounding Communities who were members of Mrs. May's Tempe Business in Abadi Village, Muaradua District, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan Regency. This research was conducted in Abadi Village, Muaradua District, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan Regency in June – August 2022. The research method used by researchers is a qualitative descriptive method. The sampling method that will be used in this study uses the purposive sampling method. Which is purposive sampling that is taking respondents intentionally. Furthermore, in this study the sample to be taken is all employees in the tempe business. The number of employees 10 for that in this study as many as 10 respondents. Data collection methods in this study were in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data processing and analysis methods used are data condensation, data presentation and describe and draw conclusions. The results of the study show the role of Mrs. May's tempe entrepreneurs in providing employment and providing opportunities for the people in Abadi Village, Muaradua District, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan Regency. capacity building and providing information about the business of making Mrs. May's tempeh in Abadi Village, Muaradua District, Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan Regency.
