Abstract

M. ADITYAWARMAN The Prospect Of Developing a Tourist Village As An Effort To Increase Farmers' Income In The Village Of Burai, Tanjung Batu Sub-district, Ogan Ilir District (Supervised by MUSTOPA MARLI BATU BARA and M. SIDIK). This study was held to determine the prospects of developing a tourist village as an effort to increase farmers' income and how much income farmers are involved in developing a tourist village. This research was conducted in Burai Tourism Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency from March to May 2022. This research method is a survey method. The sampling method used is purposive sampling. Data collection methods used in this study were in-depth interviews (In Depth Interview), documentation, participatory observation and FGD (focus group discussion). Data management methods in this study are editing, coding, and tabulating and drawing conclusions with data analysis used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that there are 3 prospects that can be developed as an effort to increase farmers' income in Burai Village, namely Balai Apung, Flower Gardens and Lebak Lebung. The contribution given by the tourist village is very influential on the income of farmers,of the average percentage given by tourist villages to farmers is 17.2%.
