Abstract

The production of snakehead fish, lais fish, and sepat siam fish has so far relied on catches from nature, with a trend of decreasing yields. The research information will be useful in managing and developing the three fish farming businesses. This research was carried out in Rawa Lebak, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, while observations of the stomachs of snakehead fish, lais fish, and sepat siam fish were carried out at the Fisheries Laboratory of Muhammadiyah University of Palembang, from April to July 2021. From the results of the study, it was found that the gastric contents of the snakehead fish were mostly in the genera Synedra utermohlii and Chaetoceros decipiens, while the gastric contents of the Siamese sepat fish were mostly in the genera Mougeotia viridis and Chaetoceros decipiens, and the stomach contents were the highest in lais fish. located in the species Chaetoceros decipiens and the species Fragilaria crotonensis. The results of this study showed that the diversity index (H') of the stomach contents of snakehead fish, sepat siam fish, and lais fish was 1 < H' < 3 which means that the stability of the biota community or the diversity of feed was moderate
