Abstract

The management of PDAM Tirta Musi's raw water comes from the Musi River and the Borang River that flows around Palembang City. In order to get clean water to meet customer needs, which continues to increase every year, PDAM Tirta Musi needs to review the need for clean water for the Palembang City area, especially for the current and future booster kenten PDAM Tirta Musi, so that customer needs in PDAM Tirta Musi's boosterkenten for clean water can be met. Based on the results of the calculation of customer growth projections with the Geometric method. The need for clean water according to the prediction of the number of customers or the number of pipe connections is 5412,419 m3/day, with a discharge of 62,644 liters/second. From the results of calculations with 140 l/d pumps from 2022 - 2026, they experience a water shortage with an operating duration of 10 hours/day. The 130 l/d pump is not sufficient for 2024 - 2026 with a duration of 10 hours/day. To meet the water demand for customers, the additional duration of each 10 hours/day is assumed to be 14 hours/day, 14 hours/day, 14 hours/day, and 13 hours/day, and 14 hours/day with pump discharge 140 l/s. For a pump discharge of 130 l/d a duration of 10 hours/day is still able to meet water needs until 2023, for 2024 - 2025 there will be an additional duration from 10 hours/day to 11 hours/day, and for 2026 the duration will be increased from 10 hours. /day to 12 hours/day.
