Abstract

ANALYSIS OF TRAFFIC FLOW SERVICE LEVEL AT THE JUNCTION OF THREE MAKRAYU ROADS TO SULTAN M MANSYUR ROAD PALEMBANG CITY The Makrayu intersection is near Jalan Sultan M.Mansyur which is the road leading to the Musi 6 bridge in the city of Palembang. As a result of market activity that uses the road as a parking lot for vehicles that also use the road. As a result of the narrowing of the lane the level of road service is decreasing and it is not comfortable. The purpose of this research is to analyze the level of service on Jalan Simpang Makrayu Palembang City. The research was conducted at 5 research points, namely: at Gelora Hallway, Makrayu street, Sultan M. Mansyur street, Pangeran Sido Ing Lautan street, dan Ki Gede Ing Suro street. The results of the analysis showed that the width of the lane was inadequate, many motorists stopped on the side of the road, many drivers violated the rules for getting in and out of Gelora Hallway heading to Junction Of Three Makrayu causing vehicle delays on Sultan M. Mansyur street and the absence of traffic signs at crossroads. Keywords: Congestion, Capacity, Road Service Level
