Abstract

ABSTRACT Structural planning is a design process based on applicable regulations. Structural planning is carried out to produce a building that is strong, safe, economical and in accordance with applicable standards. The structure planned for this eight-story building is a four-story column and beam structure where the column and beam structure are the building framework structures, therefore it is very important to pay attention to the safety aspect by planning the dimensions and use of reinforcement that is safe and economical and able to withstand load of the building. The results of the planning that have been carried out are obtained as many as three variations of the four variations planned. The safest and most economical structure is found in variation 3 with (80x80), (75x75), (70x70) cm and beam dimensions (30x55), (25x50) cm. Keywords: Building structure, planning, eight floors.
