Abstract

The Roads Jendral Ahmad Yani in Lahat City is a road that connects the provincial capital with the district/city capital or between cities. The higher the flow of vehicle movement in an area, of course, will also be at risk of increasing road damage. Therefore, it is very interesting to pay attention to the condition of roads that have access to high vehicle modes of movement. This study aims to identify road pavement damage. Identification of road damage includes the type of damage and the level of road damage so that it can be seen the value of the condition of the road pavement and alternative ways of handling the road damage. The location of the research was carried out on the Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani, Lahat City. The method of analysis using the method of Bina Marga. The Bina Marga method is a method of assessing the condition of the pavement by means of a visual survey of the condition of the pavement. This method reviews the volume of traffic and the type of damage that occurs on the pavement. From the results of research on the Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani, Lahat City, it shows that the most dominant damage occurred was patches with an area of damage of 881.02 m2 or 38.01% and curls with an area of damage of 688.75 m2 or 29.71%. After analyzing the calculation using the Bina Marga method, the priority order value is 8,643, then this value is included in the priority order group >7. So that the type of handling that is suitable for the General Ahmad Yani road in Lahat City is a routine maintenance program
