Abstract

Traders who sell on the side of the traditional Klinik market road also cause traffic jams on Jalan SH Wardoyo and KH Azhari. This is because there are traders who sell on the roadside so that it interferes with the flow of vehicle traffic that passes through the road, there are pedicab drivers waiting for passengers on the road, and motorbikes parked on the road. By analyzing the causes of traffic congestion and to analyze the capacity of the optimal level of service so that there is no congestion on the SH Wardoyo and KH Azhari roads to be precise which are in the Traditional Market Clinic in Palembang City. This study aims to determine the cause of congestion that occurs on the streets of SH Wardoyo and KH Azhari due to traders who sell on the side of the roadside of the Palembang City Clinic Traditional Market. The causes of congestion that occur on the SH Wardoyo and KH Azhari roads are due to traders selling on the road, public transportation that transports, lowers passengers and waits for passengers, on the side of the road causing vehicle delays, and the presence of pedicab drivers who park on the road. with a width of 1.5 m, thus disrupting the flow of traffic.
