Abstract

SHOBIKHATUL AISYAH .” Analysis of the Income and Welfare of Oil Palm Farmers in Bandar Agung Village, Lalan District, Musi Banyuasin regency”. ( Supervised by RAFEAH ABUBAKAR and PURI PRATAMI ARDINA N.). This study aims to determine the income from ail palm farming and the level of welfare of oil palm farmers in the village. Bandar Agung Lalan Subdistrict, Musi Banyuasin Regency the research ws conducted in Bandar Agung Village Lalan Subdistrict, Musi Banyuasin Regency from August to October 2021. The research method used was a survey. The sampling method used was simple random sampling. The data collection method used in this study was observation and interviews with respondents using a questionnaire that has been prepared beforehand. The data processing method used in editing, coding, tabulating. The data analysis method used to answer the first problem formulation is using an income formula and used quantitative descriptive analysis. Meanwhile, to answer the second probom formulation, namely by using the BKKBN formula and using descritive qualitative analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. Namely Rp.40.596.247/Ha/6 months or Rp.7.820.100 months and the level of welfare of oil palm farming families in Bandar Agung Village is classified as prosperous I because there are still 35.71% of farming families who have not been able to achieve one of the welfare indicators stage II (KS II).
