Abstract

This study used an experimental method using a Split Plot Design (Split/Plot Design) with 12 treatment combinations which were repeated 3 times to obtain 36 plots. The treatment in question is as follows: Factor I = Type of Organic Fertilizer for Livestock Waste (J) consists of 3 levels: J1 = Organic Fertilizer for Chicken Livestock, J2 = Organic Fertilizer for Goat Waste, J3 = Organic Fertilizer for Buffalo Livestock. Factor II = Compound NPK Fertilizer Dosage (D), consisting of 4 levels: D1 = 25% of the recommended dose: 62.5 g/plot, D2 = 50% of the recommended dose: 125 g/plot, D3 = 75% of the dose recommendation : 187.5 g/plot, D4 = 100% of recommended dose : 250 g/plot. The variables observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of tubers per clump (tuber), tuber weight per clump (grams), tuber weight per plot (kg). The combination treatment between types of organic fertilizer from chicken livestock waste and a dose of NPK 250 g/plot gave the highest effect on the growth and production of shallots with a production of 0.79 kg/plot or the equivalent of 3.16 tons/ha.
