Abstract

Rainfall data obtained from the rain gauge on the Average Calculation of South OKU District, South Sumatra Province is rain that occurs only in one place or point (point rainfall). Rainfall data is very important for engineering planning, especially for water structures, such as irrigation, dams, urban drainage, ports, docks, and others. Recording of rainfall to determine the average amount of rainfall in South Oku Regency.The calculation methods used in this paper are the algebraic average method, the Thiessen polygon method, and the ishoyet method. From the calculation of the average rainfall using the algebraic average method, the Thiessen polygon method and the ishoyet method, the average rainfall in South Oku district is re-averaged, the results of the monthly rainfall in 2016 are 49,984 mm, in 2016 2017 was 43,700 mm, in 2018 it was 38,321 mm, in 2019 it was 48,349 mm, and in 2020 it was 47,166 mm. The average value of the decline from 2016 to 2017 was 14,38 %, 2017 to 2018 was 14,03 %, 2018 to 2019 was 20,74 %, and 2019 to 2020 was 02,51 %.
