Abstract

The rapid development of science in the field of construction has created a Self Compacting Concrete (SCC). Self Compacting Concrete (SCC) is an innovative concrete that can be self-compacting (without a vibrator), and is able to flow with the weight of the material from SCC not much different from normal concrete, namely coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, cement, water only in SCC there are ingredients added an admixture, namely Polycarboxylate with added Polycarboxylate (Sikament FF) ingredients. This study aims to determine the optimum value of the variation of Polycarboxylate 2.75%, 3%, 3.25%, 3.5% and 3.75% on the compressive strength of 25 MPa Fc concrete at 3, 14, and 28 days. After the addition of Polycarboxylate, the compressive strength test of the concrete was carried out. From all the research that has been done, the normal concrete slump value is 9 cm with a compressive strength value of 25.52 Mpa. While the 2.75% Polycarboxylate variation obtained a slump value of 56 cm with a compressive strength value of 34.94 Mpa, a 3% Polycarboxylate variation obtained a value of 58 cm with a compressive strength value of 35.71 Mpa, a 3.25% Polycarboxylate variation obtained a slump value of 60 cm with The compressive strength value is 36.39 Mpa, the Polycarboxylate variation of 3.5% has a value of 62 cm with a compressive strength value of 33.79 Mpa, and the Polycarboxylate variation of 3.75% has a slump value of 64 cm with a compressive strength value of 32.12 Mpa. The optimum quality of concrete at 28 days was obtained from the percentage of Polycarboxylate usage of 3.25% with a value of 35.66 Mpa. From all the research that has been carried out, the values obtained for the use of Polycarboxylate with a percentage of 3.5% and 3.75%, the results of the compressive strength test with a value of 32.45 Mpa and 31.38 Mpa, experienced a decrease in compressive strength due to too much use percentage. additives that cause overdose.
