Abstract

ABSTRACT Concrete construction is still the main choice in Indonesia because it has many advantages. On the other hand, rapid development and complex construction mean that concrete works must have good quality and high workability. Therefore, it is necessary to do research on how to overcome these problems. This research was conducted in the laboratory of PT. Graha Tekindo Utama which was carried out under direct supervision from the PT which was carried out for 32 days. This study intends to determine the effect of adding steel fiber and superplasticizer polycarboxylate to the compressive strength of self-compacting concrete (SCC) with variations in the content of polycarboxylate constata 2% with the addition of steel fiber consisting of 30 kg/m³, 35 kg/m³, 40 kg/m, 45 kg/m³ which will then be tested for compressive strength at the age of 7, 14 and 28 days. The results of this test obtained that the optimum compressive strength occurred in the variation of the SCC concrete mixture + 2% polycarboxylate superplasticizer + 40 kg steel fiber, namely 431.02 Kg/Cm² at the age of 28 days with a percentage increase from SCC concrete without steel fiber of 3.02% and the minimum compressive strength value occurred. on SSC concrete without steel fiber with a compressive strength value of 273.77 Kg/Cm² at the age of 7 days.
