Abstract

The intersection on Dr.M. Isa road is a crowded place for vehicles, especially along the road. Where in the store does not have a traffic controller in the form of Traffic Light. By analyzing and conducting surveys in the field will be obtained in the inequality whether traffic light should be installed or not so that what is planned does not cause problems that can cause losses that can cause losses whether yourself or others. To that end, the author took the title of "ANALYSIS OF CROSSING PLANNING AT FOUR POINTS ALONG THE ROAD DR.M. ISA TO DETERMINE THE APPLICATION OF TRAFFIC LIGHT IN PALEMBANG CITY" to determine which intersections require the application of traffic lights in accordance with the requirements of the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation No. 273 / HK.105 / DR JD / 96 on Technical Guidelines for Traffic Regulation at Stand-Alone Intersections with Traffic Signaling Tools and width vehicle plan to determine the application of traffic lights. After conducting a survey at the four three points, it was found that in the four intersections have not met the requirements in accordance with existing provisions so that the four three storage points still do not require the application of traffic lights.
