Abstract

This research is a concrete research using Rice Husk Ash and Bestmittel Additive Substance as an added material to the cement mixture. This study aims to determine the effect of adding rice husk ash and Bestmittel additives as cement additives to the compressive strength of concrete. This study used an experimental method with a total of 48 specimens. The test object consisted of normal concrete without additives as a comparison, with 2% rice husk ash and Bestmittel 0.25%, 0.35%, 0.45% as cement additives. Each variation of the concrete mixture made 12 test objects. The test object used is a cylinder with a size of 10 x 20 cm. The planned concrete quality is Fc'24,9 MPa, the compressive strength test is carried out at 3,7,14, and 28 days. From the results of the research on the compressive strength of concrete, the ash content of rice husks was 2% + Bestmittel 0.45% with a compressive strength of 29.53 MPa at the age of 28 days. It can be concluded that the addition of rice husk ash and bestmittel can improve the quality of concrete and make the concrete harden quickly.
