Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of silca fume and viscocrete 8670 on the compressive strength of concrete with a normal concrete ratio. With the aim of making a High Early Strength concrete composition that has a fast working time and has a good initial compressive strength with the addition of silca fume and viscocrete 8670. This research uses 7 mixed variations, namely Normal Concrete, Normal Concrete + Silica Fume 5% + Viscocrete 8670 2.5%, Normal Concrete + Silica Fume 5% + Viscocrete 8670 3%, Normal Concrete + Silica Fume 5% + Viscocrete 8670 3.5%, Normal Concrete + Silica Fume 5% + Viscocrete 8670 4%, Normal Concrete + Silica Fume 5% + Viscocrete 8670 4.5%, Normal Concrete + Silica Fume 5% + Viscocrete 8670 5%. The highest compressive strength value of concrete was found in a mixture of Normal Concrete + Silica Fume 5% + Viscocrete 8670 3% at the age of 1 day with a compressive strength value of 25.4 Mpa, at 3 days 37.0 Mpa and 47.2 Mpa at the age of 28 days.
