Abstract

ABSTRACT The Psychology Building Project for Campus B of Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang uses a building infrastructure whose construction construction uses a square foundation (reinforced concrete) with a size of 40x40 cm. The purpose of this study is to find variations in pile foundations that are more efficient and safer than the previous foundation, in this case at point PC2. The calculation shows that the efficient analysis of the carrying capacity of group piles in type I is a square pile of 35x35 cm, a depth of 34 m, the number of piles in the group m: 1, n: 2 = 2, a volume of = 8.33 m3, with a value carrying capacity of the foundation = 4120.75-kN. Keywords: Psychology Building Campus B Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, PC2 Pile Foundation, Square and Circle Pile Variations, Empirical Method (Mayerhof), Vesic Method and Allpile Program.
