Abstract

ABSTRAK Nama : Azzy Saputra Progam studi : Teknik Sipil Judul : Pengaruh Rasio Aktivator Binder Terhadap Kuat Tekan Beton Geopolimer Berbahan Dasar Abu Terbang (Fly Ash) Sebagai Pengganti Semen One of the factors affecting the compressive strength of geopolymer concrete is the ratio between sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide. This research was conducted with the aim of obtaining the ideal ratio between sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide to produce the optimum compressive strength in geopolymer concrete. This study used an experimental method, namely laboratory experiments. Cube test objects measuring 15 x 15x 15 cm with variations in the ratio between sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide were 1: 2, 2: 2, 3: 2, 4: 2, 5: 2, 6. : 2, 7: 2 as many as 35 specimens. With the addition of an alkaline solution of 26% by weight of the binder. The compressive strength test was carried out at the age of 28 days. From the results of the research that has been carried out, the compressive strength of geopolymer concrete at the age of 28 days with sodium silicate: sodium hydroxide 1: 2 is 87.8773 Kg / Cm2, sodium silicate variant: sodium hydroxide 2: 2 is 134,624 Kg / Cm2, sodium silicate variant : sodium hydroxide 3: 2 is 185,495 Kg / Cm2, the variety of sodium silicate: 4: 2 sodium hydroxide is 249,412 Kg / Cm2, the sodium silicate variant: sodium hydroxide 5: 2 is 279,097 Kg / Cm2, the sodium silicate variant: sodium hydroxide 6: 2 is 310,845 Kg / Cm2, the variety of sodium silicate: sodium hydroxide 7: 2 is 252.77 Kg / Cm2. The optimum compressive strength of geopolymer concrete occurs in the variation of sodium silicate: sodium hydroxide 6: 2 of 310,845 Kg / Cm2. The results showed that the higher the ratio of the activator sodium silicate: sodium hydroxide used in the concrete mixture, the higher the compressive strength of the geopolymer concrete produced.
