Abstract

Talang Jambe Village is one of the villages located in the Sukarame sub- district, Palembang city, with an area of ± 1,163 ha, longitude coordinates: 2.88958, latitude: 104,17182, altitude per sea: 13.7 m, degrees 345 m. These coordinates indicate the existence of Talang Jambe village which is a highland in the Sukarami District area and is located on the border of Palembang city with Banyuasin Regency. The need for clean water in the Talang Jambe sub-district which is supplied by PDAM Tirta Musi Palembang Booster Alang-alang Lebar is still not sufficient for the needs of the community in the Talang Jambe sub-district because the production capacity and water flow from the PDAM are not sufficient to meet the daily needs of customers. It is known that the current production capacity is 184 liters/second and the operating hours are 5 hours/day. Therefore, research is needed to determine the capacity of clean water needs in the area. Based on the analysis and discussion of research with the title "Analysis of Clean Water Needs in Talang Jambe Village, Palembang City" it can be concluded: -648,994 M3/day. To meet the water needs in Talang Jambe Village, that can be done by adding 3 hours of water production hours so that the initial water production hours are 5 hours to 8 hours .
