Abstract

Flooding on Jalan Seruni Lorong Serawai Palembang City is a flood caused by high rainfall with a long enough duration, does not have a channel to accommodate large amounts of water so that the water overflows towards the surface of Jalan Seruni Lorong Serawai Palembang City. Many vehicles such as motorbikes have broken down due to the very high water level because the area is a road that is passed by the community. Based on the results of the channel analysis on Jalan Seruni Lorong Serawai Bukit Lama, Palembang City, it can be concluded that the drainage channels in Tesier 1, Tesier II, Tesier III and Tertiary IV cannot accommodate water, resulting in flooding. In order to avoid flooding, it is necessary to analyze the drainage again according to the capacity of the channel. So it can be concluded that the current drainage channel can no longer accommodate the total discharge
