Abstract

ABSTRACT Researchers focused on experimental studies on the bearing capacity of the bore pile and steel pipe type groups used on the Ogan Bridge (Kayuagung-Palembang-Betung Toll Road), given that this type of foundation is able to support a fairly large load. To determine the efficiency of the carrying capacity and the volume of the foundation, calculations were carried out based on the N-SPT data using the Vesic method, the allpile application program version 6.5. Researchers carried out at point P10 A on the Ogan Bridge (Kayuagung-Palembang-Betung Toll Road) using a diameter variation of Ø 70 cm bore pile type, Ø 80 cm bore pile type, Ø 90 cm bore pile type, Ø 100 cm bore pile type, Ø 110 cm bore pile type, Ø 60 cm steel pipe type, Ø 75 cm steel pipe type with a variation depth of 37, 40, 43 meters. The results of the calculation of the bearing capacity of the pile foundation in the existing condition group, at point P10 A by using the Vesic calculation of the allpile application program version 6.5 of 106676.80 kN, the volume value is 512.35 m3, and from the calculation of variations at point P10A the safest and more efficient is a type of steel pipe foundation with a diameter of Ø 75 cm with a depth of 42 meters, the difference in the percentage value of the carrying capacity is 1% (107542.39 kN) and the difference in the percentage value of the volume is 10% (463.63m3) with the number of piles as much as m: 5 n: 5 = 25 pieces.
