Abstract

The development of science and technology today has a major influence in completing work. Using an automatic water pump can make it easier for the community. At this time the water pump is less effective because the users of the water pump will be a problem when turning off the water pump because the tide has receded. Water pumping for farmers is currently still being carried out with human intervention. This of course will be a problem for farmers. In order to ease the burden on farmers a little, therefore, in this study we will design an automatic water pump for replenishing rice fields irrigation. The purpose of this research is to design an automatic water pump circuit system and to know and analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the automatic pump design system. n this study, there are several stages, namely, 1). Design stage, 2). Programming stage, 3). Testing stage. After testing the response time was carried out 5 times. It can be seen that the system can start up with an average speed of 4.55 seconds, while shutting down requires an average of 40 seconds, the fastest start-up time is 4.52 seconds and the fastest turn-on time is 38 seconds. The final result of this research can make it easier for farmers to use a water pump for rice field irrigation Keyword : Water Pump, Arduino Uno, Water Sensor, Relay
