Abstract

To know the slope safety factor in the research location, a slope stability analysis is needed. The finite element method already in the Plaxis program allows for deformation, stability and groundwater flow analysis in geotechnical engineering and makes it easier to model its handling. The purpose of this study was to find the safety factor value of slope stability on the road section of SP Air Cold - Pagaralam KM 254 + 120 using the finite element method contained in the Plaxis program. The finite element method in the Plaxis software is more efficient than manual calculation and is efficient in terms of processing time and the increase in Safety Factor from existing conditions to reinforcement is 0.1870. Make slopes from critical class to stable class.
