Abstract

Muara Lintang Baru Village is one of the villages in the West Pendopo District of Lawang Regency, which borders the City of Pagaralam. Geographically the height of Muara Lintang Baru Village is between 150 - 250 m above sea level (DPL), with an area of 1,026 Ha (BPS Kabupaten Empat Lawang). Muara Lintang Baru Village gets a source of clean water from a well and PDAM Empat Lawang WTP Pendopo. The people of Muara Lintang Baru Village rely on water sources from the PDAM to carry out their daily activities. The need for clean water in Muara Lintang Baru Village supplied by PDAM Empat Lawang is still insufficient to meet the needs of the people of Muara Lintang Baru Village due to the insufficient production capacity and water flow from the PDAM to meet the customer's daily needs. It is known that the current production capacity is 20 liters / second and the operating hours are 4 hours / day. Therefore, research is needed to determine the capacity of clean water needs in the area. Based on the results of the analysis and calculations carried out by researchers, it was found that the need for clean water in Muara Lintang Baru Village experienced a water shortage of 50.037 M3 / day. To meet the water needs in Muara Lintang Baru Village, this can be done by adding 4 hours of water production hours so that the initial production hours of water are 4 hours to 8 hours or additional production hours of 2 hours become 6 hours and the discharge is increased from the initial 4.247 liter / second becomes 5.15 liter / second.
