Abstract

CONCRETE PLANNING HIGH EARLY STRENGHT SELF COMPACTING CONCRETE (HESSCC) WITH RICE HUSK ASH AND POLYCARBOXYLATE AGAINST THE STRENGHT OF CONCRETE PRESS ON THE AGE CONCRETE IN 1 (ONE) DAY (Roivano Carlino, Faculty Of Engineering Muhammadiyah University Palembang, 88 pages) Background. This study the authors took Rice Husk Ash and Polycarboxylate as additives to the concrete mixture. In this study, will identify the effect of Rice Husk Ash and Polycarboxylate as a material to add to the mixture in concrete. Method. This study used a cube-shaped specimen with a size (15 cm X 15 cm X 15 cm) and as many as 48 specimens where for each variation as many as 3 specimens. From the laboratory research, it was found that the compressive strength of concrete at the age of 1 day with Normal Concrete + Rice Husk Ash conditions 10% (v1) of 225.6 Kg / Cm², at the age of 1 day of concrete, the highest value of concrete compressive strength was Normal Concrete + Rice Husk Ash 10% + Polycarboxylate 2% (v3) of 356.8 Kg / Cm² with a percentage increase of 58.16% against Normal Concrete + Rice Husk Ash 10% (v1). After conducting the research, it can be concluded that, with the addition of 10% Rice Husk Ash + Polycarboxylate 1-3% can increase the compressive strength of concrete. Conclucion. There was an effect from the addition of rice husk ash and polycarboxylate with the additionof variations and the age of certain concrete.
