Abstract

Jalan Sukabangun II, aisle of both Palembang City, South Sumatra Province, is an area that has a concave elevation. With the lowest elevation of 4.64 m. This area often experiences quite high floods. This can occur due to the problem of the channel which has become a problem of flooding in the Lorog Kedu area which has often been repeated, due to the lack of concern of the surrounding community regarding the condition of the channel. Flooding in the drainage channel on the Sukabangun II Lorong Kedu road, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province often occurs, such as in the rainy season due to the inaccessibility of water in the drainage channel, which is caused by overflowing of water due to the flow to the final disposal site which has problems at several points, such as accumulated garbage. on the channel, this can happen because the existing channel in the second tunnel area is rarely normalized From the results of the analysis of causal factors on Jalan Sukabangun II Lorong Kedu, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. Floods that occur in this area are caused by several factors, namely: the amount of garbage that has accumulated in the final sewer as far as 250 m from the research location, there are many wild plants that enter the final sewer as far as 250 m from the research location, and no disruption of drainage flow. due to the construction of housing and shop houses
