Abstract

SUMMARY FIRLI ADRIANSYAH, Effects of Giving Manure Cow Manure and Phosphate Fertilizer on Growth and Production of Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt) (Supervised by ERNI HAWAYANTI and BERLIANA PALMASARI). This research was conducted to find out and get the best dose of cow manure and phosphate manure on the growth and production of sweet corn. (Zea mays saccharata Sturt). This research has been carried out in Tanjung Tambak Village, Tanjung Batu District. Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The study was conducted from October to December 2019. The method used in this study was a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 12 treatment combinations and was repeated 3 times. As for the treatment given doses of cow manure (S) manure include S1 = 5 tons / ha (3 kg / plot), S2 = 10 tons / ha (6 kg / plot) S3 = 15 tons / ha (9 kg / plot ), S4 = 20 tons / ha (12 kg / plot). phosphate fertilizer (F) consists of F1 = 150 kg / ha (90 g / plot), F2 = 300 kg / ha (180 g / plot) F3 = 450 kg / ha (270 g / plot). The variables observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), cob length (cm), cob diameter (cm), cob weight per plant (g), cob weight per plot (g), dry dry weight (kg). Based on the observations of the diversity analysis showed that the treatment of cow manure 15 tons / ha gave the best influence on the growth and production of sweet corn, and the treatment of phosphate fertilizer 150 kg / ha gave the best effect on the dry weight variable, as well as tabulating the combination treatment of fertilizer cow manure 15 tons / ha with phosphate fertilizer 150 kg / ha gives the highest effect on sweet corn production of 5.07 kg / plot. Or the yield per hectare is 66,66 tons/ha.
