Abstract

ABSTRACT ANALYSIS OF FLOOD VULNERABILITY LEVEL IN PADANG GELAI VILLAGE,PASEMAH KERUH WATER Padli Yuliandra Civil Engineering, Palembang Muhammadiyah University padliyuliandra06@gmail.com The flood in Padang Gelai Village, Pasemah Subdistrict, was allegedly due to the increasing threat to the sustainability of the carrying capacity of water resources, both surface and ground water. This study aims to determine the level of flood vulnerability in Padang Gelai Village, Pasemah Air Keruh District. The flood was caused by heavy rains pouring down the area of Pasemah Air Keruh and its surroundings, causing the Keruh river to overflow into the residents' villages. The results showed that in the sewer, Jalan Pesemah Air Keruh, and Lorong Mangga, Padang Gelai Village, the level of vulnerability to floods is in the category of very prone to flooding. Based on the results of the analysis carried out on the drainage channel, Jalan Pesemah Air Keruh, and Lorong Mangga in Padang Gelai Village, it is no longer able to drain water due to rain intensity, so a planned drainage channel is needed by widening the drainage system, so that it is not prone against flooding.
